Jijamata Udyan

From Mutton Street, if you retrace your steps to Mohammed Ali Road, then the Gardens are ten minutes away by cab.

Renamed Jijamata Udyan, the Gardens sprawl over 48 acres in Byculla and are surrounded by low income housing colonies or chawls. At the main entrance to the Gardens is a clock tower, reminiscent of Italian renaissance, and which stopped ticking a long time ago.
